Little Monster

Mmmm...yummy in my tummy, and in my hair, and in my ears...

Not sure how much actually makes it in his mouth but he seems to be having fun exploring this new thing called oatmeal.

Play Time!

Carson LOVES his daddy. Ryan walks in from work and Carson lights up and lets out a squeal because he knows his best buddy is home to play! He has the cutest little belly laugh and Ryan really knows how to get him going.

Pretty sad that this is the first day all summer that we have made it down to the beach! Long gone are the days of the spur-of-the-moment let's hop in the car with the cooler and some towels, dinner at Cap't Jacks, cocktails and sunset over the beach, do it all again the next day-type of weekends that we've enjoyed the past few summers together.
Carson will be a cute little beach-bum with us next year. We can wait....

Mom and dad treated us to the Medora Musical after we spent the day exploring the historic town of Medora, ND. It's a beautiful outdoor ampitheatre in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It was a really cool show and a beautiful night. Thanks again mom and dad!

Jenn's hot new hairdo inspired me to cut my hair off while we were out there. Well, that and the fact that Carson loves to wrap his fingers in my hair. Sorry buddy, all gone.

Many, many more pictures to come...just wanted to post a few from our trip. We just got back this afternoon and are settling back in. We had a awesome week with the family and are loooking forward to planning our next visit. Carson did excellent on his first big adventure, he's a great traveler.
Thanks for everything mom and dad, we love you!

Nerheim Reunion

As I post this I realize that I only got a few pictures from the reunion at Barothy's. I think we were a little busier this year, introducing Carson to all of his extended relatives. Thank goodness for AK, you can always count on her to catch the moments! We were bummed that we couldn't make the whole weekend with the group (from the looks of all the pictures we missed some great times,) but we were able to spend the day relaxing at "Rainbow," Ryan got in some fly-fishing while the group canoed (we'll be back soon!) and spent the evening visiting with the family on the big deck overlooking the river. Beautiful resort, so many great memories from Barothy's over the years...so many more to be made.
