Happy Baby!
"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for."

Celebrating our Irish heritage at the White Lake Blarney Bash! No pictures of the actual parade as the camera lady was in the coffee shop protecting little Molly's ears from the pirate's cannon.
Carson loved the bands, firetrucks, police cars, and colorful little leprechauns. He even got to pet the police man's horse! He loved collecting stickers from all of the politicians too.

Carson's Birthday : A Super-Fun Carson, Mommy, Daddy get-away!
Our first night w/o Molly (Thank you Grandma Kathy!) A special day just with Carson...all about Carson! Our goal was to keep a grin on our little guy's face the entire day...and we succeeded! We started his birthday morning with a little shopping trip to Grand Rapids, followed by lunch-birthday boy chose the mac-n-cheese, and playing at the playland in the mall. Then we headed to the hotel where our good friend's the Kellers met us for an afternoon/evening of splish- splashing in the awesome toddler-friendly waterpark! The boys had so much fun...we've never heard Carson giggle soooo much, and we had a great time chasing after them. We headed back to our room long after the little one's bed-time for a pizza party, balloon fight, and cake, then finally crashed in bed for a few hours of sleep before we hit the pool again in the morning. We are already planning our next trip to the hotel when Uncle T.J. is home!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our favorite little guy. Thanks for all of the love, joy, and giggles that you have added to our life. Thank you for making us slow down and see the cloud "animals" in the sky and the smoke stack in the distance. Your love of life is contagious. Every day you amaze with all the new things you are learning, and you are teaching us many lessons along the way. It's so fun to see how proud you are when you master something on your own. We love to listen to your stories, especially when you are telling them to your best friend, Molly.
We love you when you get tired of coloring on your paper, and decide to turn your shirt into your masterpiece. We love you even when you refuse to ride on the pony at Meijer after we put our penny in, but throw yourself down on the ground because another little kid get to take his turn on "your pony." We love you even when you refuse to eat anything but pickles for dinner. We love you even when...We just love you.
We can't imagine our life without you and feel so lucky to call you "ours." We love you little buddy.
Love,
Mom and Dad
