Summer has finally arrived!

A beautiful sunny Friday afternoon- a great reason to sneak out of work early and head downtown to Party in the Park. We found a perfect patch of sunshine right in front of the band. Carson enjoyed his first live performance and had fun running up front to shake his cute little booty with the band.

We picked up "Tee-Shee" (Carson's got it down!) at the airport and headed right to the Whippi Dip for lunch, ice cream and playtime! Looking forward to a fun week of catching up with the big bro before he heads back west and prepares for his next deployment.

Welcome home Dustin!

It's great to welcome Dustin back to civilian life after 4 years in the Army which included deployments to Iraq. Thank you Dustin, for bravely serving our county and for keeping us safe.

CHEERS to you and to a safe return!

Carson picked right up on the "cheers." An important new word for his vocabulary :)

We had our 17 week check-up this morning and everything looks great! Heartbeat was strong and baby was very active, as usual. We were hoping to find out the sex but we have to wait until our next appt. which is on July 8th. We're so anxious to find out if Carson will have a little brother or sister! So many people ask...so what are you hoping for? And we can honestly say that we'd be absolutely delighted with either.

I'm feeling wonderful (thank goodness that first trimester is over!!!) and I'm looking forward to a relaxing summer with my boys and enjoying this pregnancy!

A Day at the Park

Great Kick-Off to Summer Weekend!

A beautiful, sunny Memorial Day weekend- the perfect kick off to summer! We spent part of the weekend doing some house projects (does it ever end?!) and the rest of the weekend we spent Yacht-clubbin', grilling and hanging out with the neighborhood gang, playing outside and enjoying the gorgeous weather. We had our first bonfire and s'more night. Love * Love * Love this time of year!

Carson learned to say "boat!" Followed of course by the motorboat noise.

Saturday morning coffee and yard-sale day with Amber and Brady. On a mission to find a double stoller- Mission Accomplished x 2! After the wheel popped off the first stroller after I bought it and loaded it into my tiny trunk (Note to hubby- time for a bigger car), and we got done laughing like crazy women as we watched it roll down the road, we decided that maybe it wasn't the best quality and we'd keep searching. So now Ryan will be doing a little repair work and we'll stick it with our other junk for our yardsale this weekend.

The little dudes had fun riding in the back seat together. Good to know we can fit two carseats in the back as this will be how we'll roll in a few months :)

Of course we had to buy one toy- as if we need anymore!
