Great Kick-Off to Summer Weekend!

A beautiful, sunny Memorial Day weekend- the perfect kick off to summer! We spent part of the weekend doing some house projects (does it ever end?!) and the rest of the weekend we spent Yacht-clubbin', grilling and hanging out with the neighborhood gang, playing outside and enjoying the gorgeous weather. We had our first bonfire and s'more night. Love * Love * Love this time of year!

Saturday morning coffee and yard-sale day with Amber and Brady. On a mission to find a double stoller- Mission Accomplished x 2! After the wheel popped off the first stroller after I bought it and loaded it into my tiny trunk (Note to hubby- time for a bigger car), and we got done laughing like crazy women as we watched it roll down the road, we decided that maybe it wasn't the best quality and we'd keep searching. So now Ryan will be doing a little repair work and we'll stick it with our other junk for our yardsale this weekend.

The little dudes had fun riding in the back seat together. Good to know we can fit two carseats in the back as this will be how we'll roll in a few months :)

Of course we had to buy one toy- as if we need anymore!

Kentucky Derby Party

So...I think we've broke the news to most of you who read our blog (or more accurately, the belly has spoken for itself!) Yes, we're expecting another baby!!! We are beyond excited and feel so extremely blessed to be adding to our family. As most of you know, it was a long road to recovery for me after Carson was born and we feared that this might not be possible. But...here we are and we couldn't be happier for our new addition arriving mid November!

Happy Mother's Day!

My first homemade gift from Carson- yes that is his wiggly little blue hand print :) All of the little ones at Miss Gina's made cute little flower pots for the mommys. So sweet!!!

Ryan and Carson made my day very special, beginning with letting me sleep in and then waking up to chocolate chip pancakes- yum! Following that was a very relaxing day enjoying my wonderful family!

When you're a child she walks before you, To set an example.

When you're a teenager she walks behind you, To be there should you need her.

When you're an adult she walks beside you, So that as two friends you can enjoy life together.

We had a great trip to Colorado a few weeks ago. We visited Jenn in Denver and Don and Jolene were able to join us for most of the week. The weather was perfect- sunny and warm all week. We were able to see so many beautiful sites but the week flew by too quickly. Can't wait to plan our next trip!

The Colorado/Wyoming/Pennsylvania family all gathered in Denver for the weekend. We had a fun day visiting with the fam at Jeremy and Nicole's new house.
